Penne with Fresh Tomato and Garden Basil

  • 1 16 oz pkg - whole wheat penne pasta
  • 4 large - tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/3 cup - chopped fresh basil
  • 1 small - garlic clove, finely minced or pressed


  1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, combine the tomatoes, basil, and garlic in a large bowl.
  3. When the pasta is done, drain well, and toss immediately with the tomato mixture. Salt to taste.
