Easy Oven Fries

By April 15, 2014

Ingredients

  • 4 large - russet potatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 °F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Trim one side of each potato to create a flat surface on which to lay the potato while cutting. Cut each potato into slices of the thickness you'd like for your french fries, such as 1/4" or 1/2". Repeat for each slice. You should now have french fry cut potatoes.
  3. Place the potatoes in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, flip and bake another 20 minutes until golden brown on the outside and tender on the inside. Salt to taste.
